Disciplined Kindness
A day devoted to power, justice, and rigidity in the aspect of loving-kindness - g'vurah in chesed.

Often I find that my first reaction to people and the world is not in fact the kindest, most compassionate, and best representation of my good intentions. Perhaps the reason that these two ideas are so closely linked is the rigor we might need to apply within ourselves in order to be kind.
On this Second Day of the Omer, we can remind ourselves to create better habits and responses - a regular discipline of loving-kindness.
Find a practice that develops our compassionate responses.
