People stared at me in disbelief tonight when I noted that Biblical law evolves in Judaism.
The Torah reports God self-defining with the phrase: "I will be what I will be."
The text changes and evolves because God is becoming.
To be static, to be fixed, is to be dead. Our God is the God of life.
